Description:
The TRK-2P is a compact pre-exam instrument that combines an auto refractometer, keratometer, non-contact tonometer and pachymeter in one body. It uses a fully automatic alignment system with auto-measurement, controlled from an 8.5-inch rotating colour touchscreen. Topcon’s Rotary Prism Technology allows accurate refraction through pupils as small as 2 mm, and a built-in cataract mode handles eyes with media opacity.
Application:
Used at the pre-test station to capture refraction, corneal curvature, intraocular pressure and central corneal thickness in a single patient sitting. Pachymetry data can be applied automatically to compensate measured IOP for corneal thickness, which is particularly useful in glaucoma screening and monitoring.
