The KR-800 autorefkeratometer has a new, bright touch panel with a diagonal of 8.5 inches to control the main functions and an improved joystick, whose weight is 23% less compared to the previous model. Topcon systems are known for their precision through the use of proven rotary prism technology. New models of keratorefractometers are also equipped with this technology, thanks to which accurate and reliable measurements will become the norm.
This device is used to measure the spherical and cylindrical refraction of the eye, the direction of the astigmatic axis, the radius of the spherical surface; to calculate corneal refraction, corneal refraction in astigmatism and the angle of the corneal refraction axis in astigmatism.
