Description:
The FC161 is a non-mydriatic hand-held fundus camera using MediWorks’ Auto Split Focusing Technology for millisecond focusing speed. Its lightweight ergonomic body allows one-handed operation. The camera carries a 12-megapixel colour sensor, a 4.3″ full-touch screen, white and IR LED illumination, and nine internal LED fixation targets giving up to 85° fundus coverage (45° per single image). Images upload in real time over WiFi to Mediview software.

Application:
Rapid fundus screening in clinics, outreach programmes and bedside examination where a desktop camera is impractical. Non-mydriatic down to a 3.5 mm pupil, supporting early detection of diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy and tele-screening workflows.
