The DEA520 is a “2 in 1” multi-purpose instrument integrating corneal topography and a complete dry eye workup. It uses a 50-ring Placido disc with three light sources (white, infrared and cobalt-blue) and delivers 14 integrated examinations on a 10.1″ 2048 × 1536 touchscreen.

Application:
A complete non-invasive dry eye examination: questionnaires (OSDI, SPEED, McMonnies, DEQ-5), NIBUT, tear meniscus height, lipid layer thickness, meibography, blink quality, conjunctival redness and fluorescein staining. The topography channel provides curvature, elevation and refractive power maps for keratoconus assessment and orthokeratology, RGP and soft contact lens fitting.
